I’ve never believed the rubbish spouted by jewelry stores that an engagement ring should cost 3 months salary but he earns more than $80 for 30 minutes work! If we went by the 3 month “rule” very little in Tiffanys and Cartier would be off limits. The ring I really liked cost $1,600.It’s also totally okay - and kind of fun - to wear a smaller moisannite or costume ring when you don’t feel comfortable wearing the big one.
